Dr Greg Taylor (FRACS MB ChB)

Dr Gregory Taylor (FRACS MB ChB) is a highly respected Specialist Plastic Surgeon. He is an expert in his field having performed thousands of cosmetic procedures over the course of his career.

Dr Taylor graduated at Otago Medical School and completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Burwood Hospital in Christchurch in 1982. He then worked overseas in Canada, Scotland, Saudi Arabia and England.

Since Dr Taylor’s return to New Zealand in 1986 he has worked solely in private practice. His clinics are based in Auckland and Nelson. Dr Taylor’s practice is largely cosmetic surgery but he is also experienced in reconstructive surgery and the management of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.

Dr Taylor is an active member of New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons (NZAPS) and Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). He is a published author and has presented papers at several scientific conferences. He regularly attends workshops, conferences and seminars in Australia, North America and Europe to ensure he is keeping up with the current trends and developments.

Dr Taylor is renowned for his local anaesthetic facial surgery and is largely responsible for making this breakthrough in cosmetic surgery more than 15 years ago. He also pioneered laser skin surgery in New Zealand.

'Natural' is at the heart of Dr Taylor’s philosophy, from your initial consultation through to your procedure and postoperative care. Dr Taylor prides himself on listening to every one of his patients, understanding the result they would like to achieve and providing honest advice and professional expertise.

The aim of surgery is to make people look better not different.

Dr Taylor states “Good plastic surgery is defined by looking so natural that no one is able to tell that the patient has had an operation”.

Fiona Wilson (BSc RN DipMgt)

Fiona is the Clinic Coordinator.

Fiona has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years with medical and surgical experience in both adult and paediatrics. Fiona completed her nursing qualification at Otago Polytechnic and gained her registration in 1990. Over her career Fiona has worked in hospitals in New Zealand and the UK. She assists Dr Taylor with the clinic’s surgical procedures and the post-surgical follow up care of our patients.

Fiona also completed her Graduate Diploma in Management at NMIT. As well as coordinating and managing the patient service Fiona oversees the day to day running of the clinic, in administration, financial and logistical needs.

Fiona can answer any questions regarding all the procedures.

Cheena-Michellene Windleburn (BN RN)

We refer our patients to Cheena, an Appearance Medicine Nurse Specialist. She is an expert in her field with over 10 years experience injecting in the Nelson region.

Cheena completed her nursing degree from Massey University and gained her registration in 2002. Over her career Cheena has gained experience in general surgery, theatre and ED.

Cheena is an active member of the Cosmetic Appearance Nurse Network (CANN). Her services offer Botulinum Toxin type A (Botox/ Dysport / Xeomin) anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler injections, micro needling and the increasingly popular PRP treatment.

Cheena is renowned for her facial assessment skills and ability to deliver natural looking results.
